A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles(UCLA), Vera has been teaching and performing
music for over 20 years. She is an active solo, chamber, studio, and orchestral freelance musician
who has been playing violin since the age of nine. Performances with various symphonic and various
chamber music groups include concerts with the Asia America Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Monterey
Symphony, Riverside Philharmonic and many other local groups.
Vera is a teacher committed to bringing out the best in a student's
ability and focuses on technique, as well as, exposing her students to a variety
of music genres and styles. She also regularly attends music symposiums and concerts
and is interested in expanding musical boundaries and sounds on the violin.

Ms. Plasencia holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Central Michigan
University and has been teaching and performing for over 15 years.
She has played in various symphonies, including:- -Sault St. Marie Symphony in Canada
- -Saginaw Symphony in Michigan
- -Memphis Symphony in Tennessee
- -Springfield Symphony in Illionois
She enjoys teaching students of all ages, and teaches the Suzuki Method
as well as the traditional method of playing.
Ms. Plasencia also teaches violin, viola, and cello.

Our Music Lesson Studios
We have seven sound proofed studios, each is equipped for private lessons. There is a comfortable lounge area for parents and for students to wait for lessons. and the repair shop and the retail store are adjacent to studios to serve any musical needs.
